Isabella Gordillo started gymnastics at the age of 4 and began competing competitively at the age of 7. Isabella trained at Woga in Plano, where Olympic champion Nastia Luikin trained. At the age of 10 she won the state championship of Texas for level 6. Ms. Gordillo qualified for regionals at levels 7 and 8, and also qualified for nationals at levels 9 and 10.
Isabella Gordillo began helping her gymnast peers with new skills and better technique. After retiring from gymnastics, she started coaching young gymnasts at the beginner level. Ms. Gordillo then began coaching gymnasts in higher levels, such as levels 3 and 4. Isabella Gordillo is currently studying and on track to receive her bachelor’s degree in finance.
