Pre-Professional Dance Classes

Coconut Grove Ballet is proud to include the AMERICAN BALLET THEATRE® National Training Curriculum, a breakthrough 8 level program that combines high quality artistic training with the basics of dancer health and child development. Our Pre-Professional Dance Classes are based on The ABT® National Training Curriculum consists of a comprehensive set of age-appropriate, outcome-based guidelines to provide the highest quality ballet training to dance students, of all ages and skill levels.

CGB is also proud to include the ABT® NTC fellows Carla A. Dominguez, Doris R. Noriega, and Julia Satterfield who are certified in the  AMERICAN BALLET THEATRE® National Training Curriculum. An ABT® NTC fellow is a level of distinction for ABT® Certified Teachers that successfully present their students for examinations consecutively over three (3) years of more. Primary through Level 3 is taught by ABT® Affiliate Teacher, Julia Satterfield, who has successfully completed the ABT® Teacher Training Intensive in Primary through Level 3 of the ABT® National Training Curriculum. Primary through Level 3 is taught by ABT® Affiliate Teacher, Rebecca Zlatkin, who has successfully completed the ABT® Teacher Training Intensive in Primary through Level 3 of the ABT® National Training Curriculum. Primary through Level 5 is taught by ABT® Affiliate Teacher, Carla A. Dominguez, who has successfully completed the ABT® Teacher Training Intensive in Primary through Level 5 of the ABT® National Training Curriculum. Primary through Level 7 and partnering is taught by ABT® Affiliate Teacher, Doris R. Noriega, who has successfully completed the ABT® Teacher Training Intensive in Primary through Level 7 and Partnering of the ABT® National Training Curriculum.
